Alphabetic listing of
generic names:
Generic (scientific) name refers to the ingredients in a drug
and/or medication.
Alphabet letters are listed, when you click a letter
all generic names starting with this letter are listed in the result
page in a table that shows the system and therapeutic group this
generic name belongs to.
Alphabetic listing of trade / brand names:
Trade / brand name refers to the
registered brand name of a drug and/or medication, it is the
property of the company which "owns" the trade name.
Alphabet letters are listed, when you click a letter
all brand names starting with this letter are listed in the result
page in a table that shows the system and therapeutic group this
brand name belong to, the generic name and ingredients and the
pharmaceutical company which owns this brand name, in addition to
form as tablet, ampoule, syrup, capsule, vial...etc and packing
which refers to the how many vials are supplied in a box or tablets
in blister or bottle pack as well as if supplied as ampoules, syrup,
suspension or capsule.
Search by class:
First pick
a system from the system list menu.
Then pick a therapeutic group. Notice that
therapeutic group list is generated according to the system you have
chosen.
Then pick a generic name from the
generated list, you may also choose to pick a trade name.
You may click the search button after
any one or more of the above choices.
Search by disease or
condition:
Enter the disease or
condition you want to treat, you may enter 2 more conditioned
criteria to refine the search. The drug you want should not be
contraindicated in a disease / condition you specify and should not
interact with another drug or medication you also specify.
The search button can now provide with
